The BMI Calculator is a free website tool from EP Apps. It calculates body mass index and a healthy weight range from the height and weight you enter. It is for adults aged 18 and over.
Not medical advice
BMI is a simple screening number. It does not measure body fat, muscle, bone, health, or risk for any individual, and it can be misleading for athletes, older adults, people with certain medical conditions, pregnant women and people of different ethnic backgrounds. The result is not a diagnosis and is not medical advice. Talk to a doctor or other qualified health professional about your health and weight.
Not for children
This tool uses adult categories. Do not use it for children or teenagers, whose BMI must be assessed against age- and sex-specific charts by a health professional.
How the tool works
The calculation runs on your device, in your browser. The values you enter are not sent to us or stored on a server. The only thing the page may remember in your browser is whether you prefer metric or imperial units.

The tool is provided as is. We aim for it to be correct, but we cannot guarantee that it is free of errors or suitable for every purpose.
