1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and EP Apps ("we", "us") for your use of the Solitaire: Classic Klondike mobile app (the "app"). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The app is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is a game played for fun: there is no betting, no prizes and no real-money gaming of any kind.

2. What the app does

The app lets you play Klondike solitaire with draw 1 or draw 3. You can deal a random game, a "Winnable" game, the daily deal, or a game by its deal number, and use undo, hints, automatic finishing, statistics, themes and display settings. The game works without an internet connection.

"Winnable" deals and the daily deal are chosen from a list of deals that our solver program has won, with each winning line checked move by move. This means each of them can be won; it does not mean that every way of playing it wins. Random deals and numbered deals may or may not be winnable. Hints come from the same solver with a short time limit and may not find a winning line even when one exists.

3. Your licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, in line with these terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from.

You may not resell or redistribute the app, reverse engineer it except where the law allows this, remove or interfere with the ads in the free version, or use the app in any unlawful way.

4. Ads

The free version is funded by advertising provided by Google AdMob and shows one banner ad on the game screen. We do not control the content of individual ads and are not responsible for the products, services or views they promote. An ad shown in the app is not an endorsement by us.

5. Premium

Premium is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. It removes the banner and unlocks all 12 themes for as long as the app is offered, on the Google account used to buy it. It is not a subscription and does not renew. The price is shown in Google Play before you buy and may differ by country.

Payment, receipts and refunds are handled by Google Play under its terms and refund policies. If you get a new phone or reinstall the app, Premium is found again automatically when you are signed in to the same Google account, and the "Restore purchase" button asks Google Play again. If Premium is refunded or the purchase is cancelled, the app may return to the free version.

6. Your game data

Your game, statistics and settings are stored only on your device. We cannot recover them for you. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app deletes them, unless Android restores them from your own device backup.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, including the data collected for advertising, usage statistics and crash reports, and what is stored on your device.

8. Ownership and credits

The app's design, code, name, icon, cards, card backs, table themes and sound effects are owned by us and are protected by intellectual property laws. The card artwork is drawn by the app's own code and the sounds are generated by our own script; no third-party images or recordings are used. The app includes the fonts Nunito (Copyright 2014 The Nunito Project Authors) and Roboto Condensed (Copyright 2011 The Roboto Project Authors), both under the SIL Open Font License 1.1; the license texts are in the app's Settings, under Licenses. Klondike is a traditional card game that anyone may play.

9. Changes and availability

We may update the app, add or remove features, or stop offering it. We try to keep the app working reliably and your game saved, but we do not promise that it will always be available, free of errors, or compatible with every device.

10. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that the app will be free of errors or will meet your needs.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the app, and our total liability to you for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it, if any.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or any rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory laws of the country where you live.

12. Ending these terms

You can stop using the app and uninstall it at any time. Your licence ends automatically if you breach these terms.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top. If you keep using the app after a change, the updated terms apply to you.
