Daily Sudoku
A fresh puzzle appears every day at midnight UTC. Solve it at your own pace and come back tomorrow.
The daily Sudoku changes at 00:00 UTC. Everyone gets the same puzzle on the same day, so you can compare notes with friends. It is free, has no sign-up, and the board saves your progress until the day ends.
How to use the board
- Tap a cell, then a digit. On a keyboard, use 1 to 9, Backspace to erase and the arrow keys to move.
- Turn Notes on to write small candidate digits. Press N on a keyboard.
- Hint finds a naked or hidden single and tells you which one it is.
- Your game is saved in this browser. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Why a daily puzzle works
A single puzzle a day is a small, finishable ritual. It is short enough for a coffee break, and the habit builds pattern recognition faster than playing in long, tiring sessions.
Tips for the daily puzzle
- Scan for singles first: naked singles and hidden singles usually get you through the first half.
- Write notes as soon as the singles run out. See how to use notes.
- If you stall, check pairs and pointing pairs before looking for anything fancier.
- Missed a day? Nothing is lost. Try a different level in the main game.
Daily puzzles in the app
The Android app has a new daily puzzle too, plus an archive so you can replay days you missed (part of the one-time Premium purchase).
