Bible Daily Verse
A verse for every day of the year.
One Bible verse each morning, and the whole Bible on your phone to read and search, without an internet connection. In English, Spanish and Portuguese.
A verse from the app
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
The same verse the app shows today.
Simple to open, easy to come back to.
Open the app and the verse is there. Read the chapter around it, or keep it for later.
-
A verse for every day
Each date has its own verse, chosen from a list of 366 well-known verses. The same date always brings the same verse, and "Read the chapter" shows it in context.
-
The whole Bible, offline
All 66 books of the Old and New Testament are inside the app. Pick a book, then a chapter, and read verse by verse, with or without a connection.
-
Search
Find verses by a word or phrase. Search ignores upper and lower case and accents, so "senor" finds "Señor".
-
Favorites, copy and share
Tap a verse to save it to your favorites, copy it, or share it through the apps on your phone. Favorites are saved on your device.
-
Optional daily notification
Get the verse of the day at the time you choose, 8:00 by default. Android may deliver it a few minutes late. Turn it off at any time.
-
No account, no purchases
There is nothing to sign up for. The app is free and shows a small banner ad at the bottom of the screen.
Three translations, three languages.
The app starts in your phone's language when it is one of these, and you can switch at any time in Settings. The menus follow the translation you choose, and the verse of the day is the same reference in all three.

Your reading stays on your phone.
The app has no accounts and asks for no name or email. Your favorites and searches are not sent anywhere. The banner ad comes from Google AdMob, which collects device data to show and measure ads, and where the law requires it you are asked for consent first. If the app crashes, a technical report goes to Firebase Crashlytics so we can fix it. The privacy policy explains it all in plain language.
