In short
- Bible Daily Verse shows one Bible verse a day and lets you read and search three Bible translations.
- The app is free and shows ads. It has no purchases, no subscription and no accounts.
- The Bible texts are provided as they are. Two are in the public domain and one, Bíblia Livre, is used under a Creative Commons license that requires credit.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and E&P APPS, Israel ("we", "us") for your use of the Bible Daily Verse mobile app (the "app"). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
The app is intended for adults aged 18 and over.
2. What the app does
The app shows a verse of the day chosen from a fixed list, lets you browse the Bible by book and chapter, search the text, save favorite verses, copy or share a verse, and receive an optional daily notification. The texts are included in the app and can be read without an internet connection.
3. Your licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, in line with these terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from.
You may not resell or redistribute the app, reverse engineer it except where the law allows this, remove or interfere with the ads in it, or use the app in any unlawful way. This does not restrict what you may do with the Bible texts themselves, which are covered by section 4.
4. The Bible texts
The app contains three translations:

We do not claim ownership of these texts. Small presentation changes were made when preparing them for the app: stray spaces were removed, the brackets around supplied words were removed, the all-capitals opening word of each Spanish chapter was put in normal case, and long dashes were replaced with hyphens. The wording of the translations was not changed. The authors of Bíblia Livre do not endorse these changes. Your use of the Bíblia Livre text outside the app is governed by its Creative Commons license, not by these terms.
The King James Version and the Reina-Valera 1909 are historical translations with the spelling and vocabulary of their time. Verse numbering differs slightly between the translations in a small number of chapters. The texts may contain transcription errors from their sources. The app is not an official edition of any church, Bible society or publisher, and nothing in it is religious, legal or professional advice.
5. Ads
The app is funded by advertising provided by Google AdMob and shows a banner ad at the bottom of the screen. We do not control the content of individual ads and are not responsible for the products, services or views they promote. An ad shown in the app is not an endorsement by us.
6. No purchases
The app is free. It has no in-app purchases, subscriptions or paid features, and it does not ask for payment details.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, including the data collected for advertising and crash reports, and what is stored on your device.
8. Ownership
The app's design, code, name and icon are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not give you any rights in them other than the licence in section 3. The Bible texts are covered by section 4.
9. Changes and availability
We may update the app, add or remove features or translations, or stop offering it. We try to keep the app working reliably, but we do not promise that it will always be available, free of errors, or compatible with every device. The daily notification uses Android's battery-friendly scheduling, so it can arrive later than the time you set, and your device's settings may delay or block it.
10. Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that the texts are complete or free of errors, that a notification will arrive at a particular time, or that the app will meet your needs.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the app, and our total liability to you for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for the app, if any.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or any rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
12. Ending these terms
You can stop using the app and uninstall it at any time. Your licence ends automatically if you breach these terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. This does not take away any protection given to you by the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top. If you keep using the app after a change, the updated terms apply to you.
