Terms of Use
Summary
The QR Code Generator is a free website tool from EP Apps. It turns the text, link, Wi-Fi details, contact or message you enter into a QR code image that you can download. You may use the codes you create for personal or commercial purposes.
How the tool works
The code is created on your device, in your browser. What you type is not sent to us or stored on a server. The codes are static: they hold the content itself, with no redirect through our servers, no tracking of scans and no expiry date. A code will keep working for as long as the content it points to does.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the content you encode and for how you use and share the code. A QR code that contains a Wi-Fi password shows that password to anyone who scans it. Do not encode secrets you do not want others to read, and do not use codes to mislead people or to link to unlawful or harmful content.
Scanning and printing
Scanning depends on the code's size, contrast, print quality and the scanner. Test every code with at least one real device before printing or sharing it. We do not guarantee that a code can be scanned by every device.
No warranty
The tool is provided as is. We aim for it to be correct, but we cannot guarantee that it is free of errors or suitable for every purpose.
Content and licenses
The QR code symbol is produced with the Nayuki QR Code generator library (MIT License). QR Code is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED. See the Licenses page for details.
